Satsumaware was produced or decorated by thousands of artists, and most of them will be anonymous for ever. They didn't sign their work, what was not unusual in Japanese tradition. But there are also a lot of artists whose marks and signatures couldnot be identified yet. In this file you will find some of these signatures. Hope somebody out there will be able to decipher some of these, and willing to help enlarging the database of marks and makers.
